On Friday November 17, 2023 the Indiana Splinter Ridge Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation Turkey Hunters Care Program donated 200 frozen turkeys to local food pantries. Turkeys were donated to North Dearborn Food Pantry, Moores Hill Community Food Pantry, Dillsboro Community Food Pantry, Rising Sun Food Pantry, Manchester Food Pantry and the Dearborn County YES Home. To date, we have donated 2,413 turkeys since 2013.
The Splinter Ridge Strutters Hunting Heritage Banquet raffle for their Turkey Hunters Care Program generates funds to purchase the frozen turkeys. We would like to thank everyone that attends our banquets and / or in any way helped to make the THCP donations possible. You are making a difference!
