The Splinter Ridge Strutters Hunting Heritage Banquet raffle for their Turkey Hunters Care Program generates funds to purchase frozen turkeys at Thanksgiving . Turkeys are donated to Manchester Food Pantry, Yes Home, Rising Sun Food Pantry , Moores Hill Food Pantry, Dillsboro Food Pantry and North Dearborn Food Pantry.
Our Splinter Ridge Chapter also holds a Turkey Hunters Care Food Drive at the banquet. For every needed item donated, receive a free raffle ticket for a special prize to be given that night.
Splinter Ridge Strutters began their first THCP raffle at the 2013 Hunting Heritage Banquet. In November of that year, SRS made their first Thanksgiving donation of 104 frozen turkeys. Since then, we have donated frozen turkeys every year with a total of 2,213.
